Annual Events

Ayrshire boasts a large number of annual events ensuring there is something to do all year round whenever you decide to visit. On top of the annual events programme, each year will often boast additional events relevant to timely anniversaries etc.

2010 is a very special year for anniversaries and in this year alone we commemorate the following celebrations –

50yrs of Prestwick Sailing Club
50yrs of Troon Golf Week
50yrs of Ayr flower Show
50yrs since Elvis made his only UK appearance at Prestwick Airport
